1. Present continuous (I am doing)

A. Example situation

Ann is in her car. She is on her way to work. She is driving to work. -: This time action is not finished

I    am (=I'm)                     :- Driving
he/she/it(=he's)                   :-working
we/you/they are (=we 're)   :- doing

B. I am doing something = i am in middle of something. haven't finished it
  • please don't make so much noise. Im working
  • Where is margret? She's having bath
  • lets go out now. It isn't raining any more.
C. We use present continuous when we talk about changes happening around now
(today/this week/ this evening)
  • your working hard today
  • Is susan working this week
Also we use present continues to represnt changes happen around now
  • The population of world is rising very fast
  • Is your english getting better?
